On Monday, despite the wild stormy weather, we came together to officially launch the new League One and Championship season with Scottish Women’s Football and Barclays at their stunning Glasgow campus.
We heard from former Scottish Internationals Gemma Fay and Rachel Corsie in a conversation full of honesty, humour and powerful takeaways about resilience, the importance of having the right people around you and the reality of transitioning beyond sport.
We also heard from Aileen Campbell, CEO of Scottish Women’s Football, who shared the vision for women’s football, and the impact partnerships like the one with Barclays are already having across the country.
And we can’t forget the mascots from St Mirren WFC and Rossvale FC Women, who brought their match day energy.
